In the event of a claim, promptly report the claim one of the following ways:

Claim Reporting Guidelines
The following are general guidelines for auto, property and workers’ compensation claims:
Auto Accident
- If anyone is injured, immediately render any possible first aid assistance and call emergency services.
- Report the accident to the police.
- Cooperate fully with the police, but do not make any admissions about your liability. Do not sign any statements for anyone other than an authorized representative of your insurance company.
- Exchange names, driver license numbers, addresses and insurance information with the driver(s) of the other vehicle(s).
- Record the following information:
- Date, time and place of accident
- Name and address of owner of the other vehicle, if different from the driver
- Names and addresses of passengers and witnesses
- License plate number of the other vehicle and the witnesses’ vehicles
- Take photos of damage to vehicles and/or property, accident scene and identification (insurance cards, license plates, etc.)
- Promptly report the claim.
Property Claim
- If anyone is injured, immediately render any possible first aid assistance and call emergency services.
- Take appropriate steps to avoid further damage to the property.
- Promptly report the claim.
Workers’ Compensation Claim
- Promptly report the claim.
- Make sure to file OSHA reports for all work-related fatalities within eight hours and all in-patient hospitalizations, amputations and eye losses within 24 hours after finding out about the incident(s).
